SUSTAINABLE UPRISING is a huge, free event for Spokane youth on Saturday, September 12, 2009 from 7-11p.m.

We are closing off the zero block of Main Avenue. between Division and Browne to celebrate local talent, raise awareness about critical sustainability issues, and offer opportunities to get involved in our community.

The night will be filled with local music on two stages, a full scale fashion/trashion show, 2D, 3D and interactive artworks, short films, hands on activities, social/political discussions, and more. What does “sustainability” mean to Spokane youth? How can we strengthen Spokane culture?
